What does it cost? |

For now, nothing! Any user who signs up now will not be charged anything, also in the future. If there will be too many users (at least more than 100), there could be a small amount for new users, maybe about $10 per year. |

How secure is my data? |

The server is backuped regularly. In spite of this fact there is no garanty provided, that your data will not be lost. So you better export your bookmarks from time to time and save it on your harddisk. If there is any problem, you can re-import this file into bookmax.net. |

Do you give any of my data to third parties? |
| |
No, definitely not! Your personal data and your bookmarks are not given to anyone. The email address is used to send you your username and password, if you ever forget it. |

Are there banners or other annoying stuff? |

No, we don´t use banners. To keep this site running we are partnering with amazon. So the first link in the top folder is a fixed link to amazon. Addendum, July 28. 2004: Since the usage of the amazon.com link is very low, we will have some additional text adds sometimes. Sorry, but somehow we are trying to finance this site. |
